- VAT: section deliberately left out. The old legal notice on ferienwohnung-wiehl.de gives no VAT ID (USt-IdNr.), only a tax number (Steuernummer). The tax number does not belong in a legal notice – it is not required there and it identifies the tax account. The only thing § 5 DDG requires is the USt-IdNr., and only if one exists. If a USt-IdNr. does exist after all, it has to be added here.
- Address decided (21.09.2026). The provider is now given as Bielsteiner Straße 92, 51674 Wiehl. Four independent sources give this address: the old legal notice, the flyer, the booking tool currently in use and the Stripe account. Bahnhofsplatz 2a stays everywhere it describes the location of the apartment – on the Bielstein page, in the distance details and in the ready-to-copy block for wedding guests.
- Clarify image credits. The old legal notice says the copyright of the photos lies with Haus Kranenberg. That does not fit with the separation we want. To be clarified: who owns the image rights, and are stock photos in use? The old legal notice lists a dozen stock portals.
- Consumer arbitration: The sentence above is the usual choice. It is permissible, but it has to be a deliberate decision.
- No link to the EU dispute resolution platform: It was shut down on 20.07.2025. A link to it would be a cease-and-desist risk today, not a mandatory item.
- Check the email address. I am using janine@ferienwohnung-wiehl.de. In the old legal notice the address is hidden by script, so I could not check it.
