What is nearby

Everything around us – with honest distances.

The figures here are driving distances, not straight lines. We measured every one of them, because “just 10 minutes" in the Bergisches Land can mean very different things depending on the road.

All distances are from Bahnhofsplatz 2a in Wiehl-Bielstein. From the Sonnenterrasse in Wiehl it is a few kilometres less to most places.

Right outside the door

What you can reach on foot

100 m Erzquell Brauerei Bielstein The brewery where Zunft Kölsch is made – literally around the corner. There are guided tours with a tasting, but only by arrangement.

400 m Kind & Co. Edelstahlwerk For anyone here on business: you can walk to work.
at the door Bergischer Streifzug #17 “Bierweg" 13.4 km circular walk, about four hours, 316 metres of ascent. Starts and ends at Bahnhofsplatz. More about it
