Wiehl, village centre
The apartment with the terrace above the valley.
50 m² for two, with a bedroom of its own and a terrace where you end up sitting all evening. Not a balcony for drying laundry on – a proper wooden terrace with an awning, a grill and a view over Wiehl.
Where the name comes from
The terrace isn't an add-on, it's the main room
A retractable awning gives you shade when the sun is beating straight down on it. The gas grill comes with the place and you're welcome to use it – no extra charge, no need to ask first.
What you see from here: rooftops, the church tower, and behind them the wooded hills of the Bergisches Land. No backyard, no wall opposite.
Smoking is fine out here. Not inside the apartment.
Inside
One room to sleep in, one room to live in
Your own kitchen
Fully equipped, with a filter coffee machine. You don't have to head out in the evening just because you're hungry.
Washing machine
It's there and you're welcome to use it. There's no dryer here – but there is the terrace.
Two fans
For the days when the sun terrace lives up to its name a bit too well.
Linen included
Beds made up, one large bath towel and one hand towel per person. No extra charge.
Arriving

You get the code by email a week beforehand. Arrival from 4 pm, no matter how late it gets.

Everything on foot
Bakery, shopping, restaurants – the apartment is right in the middle of Wiehl.

Where this is
Right in the middle of Wiehl, with the Bergisches Land on the doorstep
- Panarbora in Waldbröl, treetop walkway and play area – 20 km.
- Schloss Homburg in Nümbrecht, museum and events – 8.7 km.
- The stalactite cave in Wiehl – a few minutes by car.
- The Bergischer Bierweg starts in Bielstein, a 13.4 km circular trail.
These are driving distances, not as the crow flies. We measured them ourselves.
Honestly
Who the apartment suits – and who it doesn't
A good fit for: two people who want an apartment of their own instead of a hotel room. For longer stays, for contract workers, for a quiet weekend trip into the Bergisches Land.
Not a fit for: more than two people – then take the apartment in Bielstein instead, which sleeps six. And not for guests with a dog: pets are not allowed in either apartment.
We'll set up a cot and a high chair free of charge if you let us know in advance.
Availability
Available again from 10 February 2027
Final cleaning included, bed linen and towels included. Until then the apartment is let. You can already book later dates – the price depends on the dates, just have a look at the calendar.
